'Smart Farming', an initiative of Greenpeace
India, attempts to bring together scientists, academia,
think tanks, development professionals and farmers to a
common platform to discuss smart and sustainable farming
solutions to ensure food security.
Smart Farming (or Agroecological systems) defend nature and
people by protecting soil, water and climate, promote
biodiversity, ensure healthy farming and healthy food for
today and tomorrow, and do not contaminate the environment
with chemical inputs or genetic engineering.
